Look at our position and what do you expect , it’s not like our new manager is going to attract any quality because of his pedigree?
We are currently a bottom of the table team teetering on the edge of the Championship.
We really need to curb our expectations at present.
if we end up with that lot, it shows how useless the recruitments are.

Another reason we shouldn't have appointed him. The whole thing is a fiasco.

Disagree, dyche would have got a prem club eventually,
Maybe not as big as us, he’s not a mercenary like Sam who couldn’t careless. Dyche still has his career to think about moving forward. I doubt he just accepts anything the club offer.

Also stones put a transfer request in
And we didn’t sell, you’re basically making out we would have sold not matter what Newcastle offered.

Anyway I think we will spend money in the next 2 days, let’s wait and see
You’ve just contradicted yourself massively; “he’ll get a club, but not as big as us” - so I’m right, it’s his one and only chance of a big club.

And stones?? Really, 6 years ago before we’d started losing £300m over 3 years and a £750m stadium on the horizon as well as teetering in the verge of relegation which could hit us for another £100m

See the big differences there pal; not even remotely close.

But sound, you think we’re spending £60m in 2 days, good for you. I don’t

It depends because we have a full back issue, but we also have very limited funds. He could be an option which wouldn’t set us back much money and at least provide something different. We aren’t in a position to sign quality players in all the bad areas atm, if we get a good striker I can’t see an above average full back joining too
Why would we sell Gordon to then not spend money.
We have till June 30th to balance this years accounts, im no
Expert but surely are books are looking better than what they have in a good few Years. It’s spend some or all of that Gordon money now
Or potentially lose 150mil if we go down, it shouldn’t be a hard decision.

The caveat is obviously our brilliant owner and revered board have left of to
The last minute again

Just to clarify for those wetting themselves over Fraser, he was only vaguely linked as a possible makeweight for the Gordon deal, then Newcastle decided, incredibly, to offer the £40m up front

if we end up with that lot, it shows how useless the recruitments are.
Again I ask , what quality player would choose to come to a club in our position at this stage of the season?
What would attract them apart from big wage , which we can’t afford and they’d probably receive elsewhere anyway.
Tell me how you would persuade any player to join the shabby Circus that is Everton FC at the moment?
