We needed 2/3 before we sold Gordon mate, we badly need creative players...more so now.......if they've sold Young Flash without anyone lined up..........we deserve to go down.

Yeah if it’s two in (say Gyokeres and Sulemana) we’re really only at best keeping pace with what our rivals have done this window. We really need to pull another rabbit out of the hat to try to kick up the league. Something like a loan for Ziyech would really add some much needed quality.

Ryan Fraser is an international teammate of Andy Robertson, doesn’t mean they’re worth the same amount of money.

Understand your point, but interesting that out relegation rivals have put their faith in a proven 10m Championship player. Just don't want this to be another player we pay massively over the odds for....

Its definitely creativity for me mate, we cant break a line id like a loan deal for Ziyech - he has vision and can penetrate - i do think it could go VDB or Dele very easily though - sometimes there are reason quality players faces dont fit.

Dyche doesn't break lines, he lumps it into the box. I'd be amazed if we sign a baller.

I wouldn't be surprised if he really is working solely on the wings, players that will get the ball in the box at any given opportunity.
cos as awful as our goals count is, our chances created has been absolutely woeful. you can't score goals without created opportunities.

He will look at the squad and say -
We have Englands first choice keeper
We have a solid backline ( apart from myko )
We have very good options in the 'cm' once garner's back

Then he will have the head scratch and say,
We have 3 striking options who spend 80mins of a game outside the box
We have wingers that always cut back instead of delivering a dangerous cross

We have height all round that we don't take advantage of.

It's not rocket science why the ball is never hitting the back of the net.

Id say we are in the process of getting rinsed by a few clubs for the Gordon fee.

You'd be looking forward to negotiations with us at the moment.

We should just have deals lined up or else what was the point, ill give them a bit of grace - seeing as it was only yesterday mate and things may break as the day goes on - but our negotiating position is weak and its very easy to make a bags of the Jan window under pressure, we've entered a high risk game here given our context.

He won’t sign a silly skills/through ball type of player but we could sign a player with excellent delivery (like Ziyech is what he wished McNeil was) or a rapid exciting ball carrier like he used Cornet (like Sulemana appears to be)

It looks like yet another big money sale without a replacement lined up. As said many many times, this does not happen at an organised, well ran, competent, long standing top flight club.
