We should just have deals lined up or else what was the point, ill give them a bit of grace - seeing as it was only yesterday mate and things may break as the day goes on - but our negotiating position is weak and its very easy to make a bags of the Jan window under pressure, we've entered a high risk game here given our context.

Actually *at the minute* it’s exactly what it looks like. That may change tomorrow or later on but right now it’s one ‘verbal bid’ and very little else. There’s absolutely no need to go on at people who quite rightly are not positive- there’s almost nothing tangible to be positive about. If anything, the blind optimism is much more unfounded than people moaning with reason.

Best case scenario mate, we get two or three in attacking positions - but even at that its a big ask to have essentially an all new front unit to come and for it just to work...........doesnt matter who we sign - we will be very lucky if it all clicked - it wont, its going to take time - i honestly dont think anyone in our administration actually understands football - Farhads interview last week - we will just sign a stirker - doesnt work just like that.

You need a reality check, everything is doom right now. We’re joint bottom of the league with some of the most horrific attacking stats I can remember. Our number one target went awol at the last minute due to incompetence. We’ve just sold our best winger, there’s nothing solid being reported and are actively weaker as a squad than the start of the window. The simple fact is, doom is much closer to the truth than ‘we will sign someone’ because only one is a fact right now.

Ok edit: sorry if that came off as attacking in any way I just do not see any tangibles to suggest we will buy the right players for the right place and the right time boat sailed a month ago
