Disgraceful - with everyone turning us down, anyone we get now will be desperation.

The lack of self awareness by the club is staggering.
I certainly assumed we’d be spending the Gordon money, or a substantial portion of it at the very least . If you look at the stories , circulating in the media we seemed half arsed in our pursuit of the players mentioned so are they turning us down or are we not pursuing deals ?

Options 1 & 2 seem the most likely and are we don’t no what we’re doing and/or we’re skint . Option 3 is stuff is going on behind the scenes and neither the media or any of us are privy to it , certainly that seems unlikely but if we’re skint I’d rather they’d just told us and we battened down the hatches for the inevitable.

It’s going to be an interesting few hours .

Vinny O'Connor is a gimp

@Charlie Sweet and @MikeH72 agreed on something

Sean Dyche is still picking glass out of his feet

@BainesontoastNEW is still picking glass out of his face

@bullybeef is a massive bellend

Everton are trying to work out which of the 350 Dembeles it is they've bid for

That about covers it.
Appreciate the summary, sir. And with no humping animals, I feel truly privileged.

You've got to wonder why we dedicate so much time, money, energy and emotion into this team. I'm 24 years old and we've hardly had any times where we can be remotely proud of the team. We spend our money on season tickets, away tickets, buy shirts and merchandise for ourselves, for friends and family. They give us absolutely nothing, lacklustre effort on and off the pitch, dreadful communication, just embarrassment all year round.

Soon they'll be asking us to pay for our season tickets at a more expensive rate... honestly if football didn't act as the catalyst for me to spend valuable time with my family and friends, I really wouldn't bother with this club, because they don't bother about us.

They're just a bunch of absolute clowns, the fans are fantastic, we deserve so much better.
100% the bit about it being about family and friends, couldn't agree more.

We've turned in to a hideous club, that doesn't care about its fans or have a clue where its going.

But I grew up with this club from when I was boy, going with my dad and friends it's been part on my upbringing and it's sad to see it go to the wall.

Make no mistake about it we are falling apart at the seems, only silver lining is that stadium when the fails there'll be nothing left.

We don't even have to spend the Gordon money, 45 mill hits the accounts this year, we could sign a 25 mill player for 5 mill + wages, we have money - we could do that with 3 players- let nobody be fooled. We knew Gordon wanted out since the Southampton game.

There was no reason to sanction the Gordon move until we had something to replace him - we could have agreed the deal in principal pending a replacement confirmed - its what clever club do.

Shockingly bad.
