We can't attract that sort of player though, even if we made a few sales (we won't it will be loans due to the crazy wages our players are on) what player is really going to want to come to 17th place Everton? We are a basket case of a club at the moment and even if we did make sales the last thing we need is to be spending big money and big wages on an individual. We are just going to have to tread water for a while imo and any future signings need to be very carefully analysed before buying/signing to make sure they will contribute, we simply can't afford anymore 'hangers on/deadwood' Lets just hope Moshiri was on holiday for a reason the other day.

There is still a lot of risk for whoever signs Kudus.
He has done well in the World Cup but so has Enner Valencia and we don't want to sign him again.
He is coming from the Dutch league and that always throws up a red flag.

I think his profile may have risen to a point where he is beyond us now and I certainly would like us to sign him because I think we need a creative player even more than we need a striker but I think around 25m for a player out of contract in 18 months would be more than enough.

That would of been the logical thing to do but as we know we don’t deal in logic at Everton, so I’m fully expecting us to sack him in the busiest period of the season after having 6 weeks to do so, then scramble round for a replacement to end up bringing Martinez back ?‍

I wish I had confidence in our recruitment to get what we need. We haven't had a top notch number nine since Rom really, Dom is a good striker but the team has to be set up for him and he's never fit in the last eighteen month. We struggle to get someone to fit our requirements even more so when our budget is limited. I am hoping Thelwell cab unearth a few forwards who can actually deliver we can't afford more duds.

Martinez won’t be getting the job, it’s logical if you want Frank out, but what’s the option. Take a punt on a foreign manager or go for a dyche.

No team outside the top 6 has a top centre-forward and able to hold onto them. Sadly, we're the same. If Calvert-Lewin wasn't injury prone he'd probably have been sold in the Summer, too.
