January Transfer Window 2023

Mark my words. By midnight we'll have at least 3 THREE signings in the bag. As much as I don't like this board and think they're useless there's no way Dyche, with all the negotiating power he had, would not have gotten commitments to a few transfers in. And they'll be late given timings of the new manager.

To be honest I'm more surprised we've not seen someone like Holgate or Mina leave just to help balance the books a bit.

Well considering deal sheets had to be in by 11 o'clock and it was confirmed after that time that Everton had no deal sheets in then that's unlikely, unless they are all free agents.

Realistically the fans aren’t going to be positive after this, so let’s just get that clear from the outset. There isn’t going to be a repeat of last year with fans proactively lifting them, the fans don’t have it in them to do it again, and the mood has changed from desperation to anger. You’re right though that if dyche can create a siege mentality and the team fight and scrap to some good results then the crowd could get behind them enough to give them a chance.

Yep, time for these players to show us what they are made of. Repay the fans for their amazing support last season.

Just taking a look at the Championship, some big games there next season lads......Hey Lads....Lads??!!

I can only assume the board are thinking after the two millwall games that banning orders will take care of a fair portion of would be protestors .

It could be worth looking to recall some of the loans if that's possible, given the circumstances

I'm not sure Moise Kean would actually help the squad morale though. Dobbin is another one although maybe not going to add much to our firepower

Branthwaite also, although we have plenty of centre backs

Play him upfront with hoofball. Best chance weve got

The disturbing thing is 19 out of the 24 teams there are all former Premier League sides, 6 of them are founding members (Sheff Utd, Blackburn, Coventry, Middlesbrough, Norwich and QPR)

Mate, wake up and smell the roses. We've been getting turned down left right and centre by young kids from poor leagues the last couple of days.

How many of our targets in this window have we been beaten to by the likes of Bournemouth and Southampton?

I think that Frank was one of the worst manager's we've had out of a rotten bunch, by no means am I saying that he was amazing. The one thing he was good at was talking though, he has pull in the game and he knew how to utilize it. It's how he got the Everton and Chelsea jobs.

Dyche has absolutely no pull. If you were a player being pursued by Everton, he isn't the man that's going to convince you that our current form is a blip and that we're building something.

His mere presence suggests that we're probably going to be in the same place next season.
You think we made no signings because of Dyche? You don't think it's because we're getting relegated, the atmosphere is toxic or that we're the worst run club in professional football? Blip? Ha!! This isn't a blip! Lampard wasn't building anything.

You don't think that our financial situation had any impact? Scrambling for loans and pennies up front deals.

You think it's all because of a guy who's been here 36 hours of a 31 day transfer window.

I can smell the roses very clearly. They smell of horse manure.

Everton won't return. We'll be in the wilderness for years like Leeds were. Wouldn't be surprised if we never came back. Wages at 96% of turnover, very few playing assets, a stadium that will likely remain incomplete now and we will be on the hook for what has already been paid.

It is ruinous on a scale I don't think the football world, certainly not the British game, has ever seen. I mean, could liquidation be an actual possibility?
