We've got no chance with Ivan Toney now, we were linked when he was in the Championship should have gone for it then if we wanted him. Sad to say there will be clubs ahead of us when he is available. The clock is ticking we need someone in early Jan we need a boost.

I believe we do have the basis of a very good team but we lack creativity and we are short a striker when DCL is injured.

I had a look recently at the top scorers in the French league and it is an interesting thing to do, there are several young players there that might be affordable for us and certainly have potential to improve.

Yes like him as has been said we need to look at markets like France, Belgium and Germany for value. Kamada is another with his contract running out who would be a brilliant signing.
