We wont be taking up the option to sign Vinagre I'm guessing so we still have to look at future replacements. I know it's not a priority area signing but maybe there is an option for a deal, we are also being linked with a young LB from Empoli called Fabiano Parisi.

Seem to be getting linked to a few left backs the past few weeks.

That tells me 2 things

1. We want a new left back
2. Frank thinks Mykolenko is crap

3. Any plonker with a twitter account can make up anything write the words 'Club X want to sign Player X', attach a photo of said player, and people will accept the "rumour" as gospel. Especially if it's a fancy sounding name most people may not have heard of.

I'v not a priority it's behind attacking reinforcements but we need a more attacking left back Myko is solid defensively but doesn't offer a lot going forward. Having that option of an attacking left back could give us another outlet and crosser look how important Digne was with his assists, it also allows us to play a 343.

It's what we do. Sign a player in a position we're lacking? No, not Everton. We signed 3 or 4 number 10's we didn't need under koeman. A winger on-loan under the Fat Kopite, who played about 10 minutes. And McNeil when we already had Grey,Gordon, Townsend & Iwobi who can play in the same position. Not forgetting 2 over the hill keepers, then loaning out 3 younger keepers at the same time. Confused? You will be...

True, but then you look at some of his errors this season, and in previous and think - maybe a steady goalkeeper mightnt be the worst thing

Yeah having options is important, especially when we need a goal and the other team is defending. Mykolenko isn't great at decision making, and isn't particularly creative so being able to replace him with someone more attacking is pretty essential. Can even rotate depending on the opposition. We obviously don't rate Vinagre

Yes how many times do you see him bombing on past his winger like Digne or Baines did? He just isn't that kind of player its fine he's a good solid left back but you need attacking threats we lack them from left back too
