LAMPARD SWOOPS FOR mACCAVENNIE!!!

maccas musings can confirm that Lampard has made an audacious bid for World star striker maccavennie. Its thought that the Columbian drug lord has a clause in his contract which allows Everton to sign him from El Dorito FC for as little as £99 due to him having Everton bedding in all of his 65 bedrooms in his luxurious shack mansion.

musings inside source confirmed it last night and was quoted as saying "Kev Thelwell was in a little plane trying to sort a kilo of beak with his mate Yezza when all of a sudden, there's macca doing keepy uppies on the runway entertaining the local illegal airport staff. One stripe led to another and before anyone knew what was happening, Lamps was on the blower to macca and the deal was up and running"

El Dorito Chairman Sue Perb has refused to comment on the rumours and new manager Rafael Benitez was rumoured to be signing his replacement by reuniting with his male lover Slalom Rondon.

More to follow as we get it
Any updates? Has he been spotted in Nandos yet?

Rennes signed Gouiri for 28mil EUR and hes done well for them...any fee for Terrier or him would be circa £50mil id expect.

Weve done business with Lille recently for Onana and sent Andre Gomes there.

Lets try and work something out with Lille for Jonathan David.

Quick, good with both feet and knows where the net is.

Pace is always a threat so he and Gordon should have teams on the back foot.
Dont knoalot about that david apart from some games at the wc and looking at stats looks to be similar height to maupay could he lead the line really lack anyone to hold the ball up, or can he be played as a wide forward

Could play him as a wide forward...not very strong in the air from what ive seen.

They did have one big chance I think but that's not really the point so much as an accumulation of ok shots is going to cost you eventually. An accumulation of bad shots is whatever, we're venturing too close to shots where some of them are going to go in sometimes and it'll cost you. We're kind of in the middle on that which is absolutely fine if you're also not conceding a ton of shots. When you are conceding a ton being in the middle can end up bad.

We're not conceding goals through a combination of good goalkeeping (which no matter how highly you rate Pickford was always going to and already has started to come back to Earth), good luck and a healthy dose of determination from our defenders. I don't think all of that is going to sustain. Which is why I'd like us to preemptively emphasize playing in better areas, pressing in a real system and keeping the ball away from our defensive third so that teams can't constantly take shots, regardless of quality.
Yes, the issue is we don't keep the ball up the other end enough and our midfield is imbalanced, so our defence is constantly under pressure.

Looking at Ben Brereton Diaz again apparently. I wonder what fee Blackburn would accept for the last six months of his contract? They know we’re desperate. They are also in a promotion battle.l

It looks as though the Ruben Vinagre loan will be cut short. It will leave us with no left back cover. Godfrey could do the job, bot he’s not back yet.

This signing always felt incongruous. We were never spending £20m on a back up left back.
