Instead we’ll spend our money on new contracts for 2 of the biggest problems in that area; Alex Iwobi and Anthony Gordon.

They’ve earned their massive new contracts from “running around a bit”

I can't really agree on Iwobi given he's quite literally the only one who's created anything for us all season mate.

But we need better than him/better around him and I don't think he should be getting a big wage increase with a new deal. New deal is sound and deserved, he's been good for us for 11 months now. But not with a bumper wage rise.

However, more concerned spending a combined £30m on McNeil and Maupay.

So the strategic football plan by our cough cough erm board! basically we just sell our family silver off each window until we have nothing left whilst trusting absolute weapons to re invest it on players like Mcneil, Maupay, Garner, Mykolenko, Rondon, Onana. Its hilarious are better buys have been free or minimal fees. Does any sane person honestly have faith in this lot to get anything right. If they are going to sell to buy (which they will) it has to be done 1st January not the end of the month because we will be well and truly snookered by then. Reckon DCL would have been sold if he wasn't terminal. We need powerful big goalscoring forwards, we buy the total opposite. Small, slow and don't score.

Agreed. Never bought in to the Gordon love in. Richy was always going to go but we shouldn’t now be getting rid of Pickford (if that happens)
