Agreed. Never bought in to the Gordon love in. Richy was always going to go but we shouldn’t now be getting rid of Pickford (if that happens)
If one is good enough he will play. Saka, Fordon (spelling), the 19 year old CM the RS is looking to sign. All England players who are at the same age group as Gordon. I don’t think he is on the same wavelength.

I can't really agree on Iwobi given he's quite literally the only one who's created anything for us all season mate.

But we need better than him/better around him and I don't think he should be getting a big wage increase with a new deal. New deal is sound and deserved, he's been good for us for 11 months now. But not with a bumper wage rise.

However, more concerned spending a combined £30m on McNeil and Maupay.
I like Iwobi. But I do think people bang on about his contribution a bit too much…for me him being our best/most creative player just shows how far we have fallen over the last few years. We could really do with a midfielder or two that can actually score goals.

Any new deal is guaranteed to come with a bumper wage rise.

In an ideal world Iwobi would be a backup for me - but our squad is so poor these days that he’s the first name on the team sheet.

We should already have at least one attacker signed and ready to go in January. And it should’ve been announced to at least try to boost fans morale somewhat
We're such a uniquely awful club at transfers, everything coming in takes ages and everything going out is almost always too cheap. There were quotes the other day from Lampard about the lad Wolves had signed. Would it not occur to the club that with other clubs clearly doing business during the WC that we should do the same, it's baffling. I honestly think this club does absolutely nothing in regards to transfers, scouting or anything like that outside of the month of August and the month of January, all the rest of the year they must literally do nothing because there's never any sign of that work, a long term plan or anything, it's always a last minute scramble, always.

How can a club get it so wrong so frequently?! It’s been biting us on the backside for so long now, it wouldn’t surprise me to see us down. There’s only so long you can ride your luck (or rely on your fans)!
