That he did but I’d happily sell him on to fund other deals. The fundamental concern would be the clubs efforts to replace him and spend the money but it would be entertaining non the less.

we sold Richarlison to get centre half's and centre mid's in and look how that has gone. Keep your best players.

To be fair he was never a terrible footballer, he just wasn’t suited to the PL. He’s a great example of why you need to actually scout players instead of just looking at their scoring record etc.

Have to agree whats the point in a keeper like Pickford who is good with his feet in a terrible football team that's going down? Yes he is a good shot stopper but if we can't score goals we are down anyway if he is our saleable asset and we can secure three or four good players to save us by selling him we do it.

Yeah that’s what I’m saying really. He was never worth what we paid for him, that was clear very early on, which makes he wonder how well he was scouted. He wasn’t a bad player in fevers terns though, he has a decent scoring record at CL and international level. He’s not Brett angell, he just wasn’t really suited to the PL.

Yes he is technically decent and could finish when given time in the Turkish league but had no outstanding attribute to excel in this league, he isn't big or outstanding in the air and doesn't have pace or mobility to be slipped in or skill to make his own chances

Well we have 2 keepers behind him that might as well be collecting a pension but one might do a job for 4 months
