….I don’t get the love for Sancho. I posted at the time United were spending way too much, looked bang average for England and often goes missing in games. With his fragility, I think he’s exactly the type we should avoid.
Maybe so I wasn't necessarily advocating him but just using him as an example from what I've seen he would produce goals and assists which is a step above what we have and more of a chance of game changing than Elanga. The point was general whoever we loan has to make a difference in games, Elanga doesn't strike me as appreciably better than Gray for example to win us games and that's what we need.

We need to weaken the teams around us like Newcastle did last season. We need to buy some players from wolves , west ham, Brentford etc.
Not sure why you are putting Brentford in there, and unfortunately we are in no position to be signing the better players from West Ham or Wolves.

Do we have any spaces for inbound loan signings or would we have to make space to free up squad limits etc? Just wondering if we are trying to bring people in from clubs that need to get their business done first to ensure said player becomes available. I also doubt anyone of PL quality would want to come in on say, a three year contract to have a relegation clause inserted which at this moment in time looks increasingly likely. A six month loan option may be better for the right player and for the club

One domestic and one foreign

You have to laugh look at Brentford for a fraction of our wage and transfer budget they are miles ahead of us
Indeed. They have spent many years building a system to identify players and a manager in situ who plays to their strengths. We have none of that, our recruitement is done on former wolves players and random infatuation of players by the likes of Kenwright et al and no sign of a coherent play style.

To even stay in the league these days requires a good plan and business model. We have a load of old nobodies poking their heads in reccomending the likes of McNeil (who I honestly don't mind but where is the thought on how he fits, his lack of a goal record when we have just sold Richarlison etc).

I truly think we are circling the drain and unless there is a fundamental upheaval from academy to board level we will become the next 'massive' club to enter the championship and who knows how far we will sink.
