Bringing that lad back solves nothing. We need creative players and clinical finishers. They cost money or at the very least shrewd scouting/negotiating.

Our finances must be woeful or at least, dictate we can’t spend much and probably late in the window.

Desperation is the only way I can describe it

We had Lampard talking up DCL coming back and now Simms being recalled. The club seem to have no intention of signing forwards. They treat the fanbase with utter contempt.
