Why do people still use this as if it’s a legitimate argument? Teams are actually buying and announcing signings outside of transfer windows, why do people still think you’re only allowed to start looking at and bidding for players when the window opens? We need to get a move on more so than other teams. Every day of this window counts.

This, surprising how many fans think you can phone a player on the 1st of January and he's with you by the 2nd, there's a reason why 95% of loans happen in the last 48 hours.

Agreed in general but, we’ve been linked to too many decent players in the recent past not to have one in our sights this month.
I know-this is Everton we are talking about

We were never going to win the league this season, never going to make Europe, Mid table was always going to be the target. People set too much high hopes to quickly that's why they get dissapointed. The world isn't going to end after this season, we build and go again. We don't go from a relegation battle team to world beaters in one season. It takes time.

If we dont sign a goalscorer we dont get another season to rebuild - we get relegated.

Of course we pinned our hopes on him. Frank talked him up all summer, didn't look to replace him and still didn't prioritise a forward after he broke down yet again. Then we had Frank talking him up again. We cant afford to rely so much on player who is available so little.

Every window you say we will sign all these players and call us out for being negative.

This club has no idea what they are doing mate. That's the facts.
