Does that role include walking around.I reckon McNeil could work well as a wingback.
I base this on nothing other than pure hope that we haven’t flushed £15m down the drain.

Our summer kitty
Yes. FFP is a rolling cycle, and Newcastle were profitable last few years. so let's say they've spent 200M, split over 5 year contracts, plus 35M extra wages. That's 75M per year extra. They were making a profit over previous years, so they would maybe lose 60M per year, based on previous turnovers. Which would get them into trouble a few years down the line. However they'll qualify for Europe, adding 30M minimum to their turnover, and probably create 30-40M new sponsorships, meaning they'll break even, allowing their Saudi paymasters to invest even more into their club.Newcastles 3 strikers cost £62m, £25m and £20m. Over 100m on strikers. They have a 211m net spend since the takeover with less turnover than us in past few years (from what I could see on Google). That’s more than our net spend over last 5 years.
Yet we can’t spend. FFP does not work.
Or am I missing something?
May as well we are sinking hereIf they want him in the summer then couldn't we play it clever, agree the deal now to go through before the end of June, then spend the money in this window knowing it is coming in before the end of the financial year?
They make more money than us through sponsors and gate receipts for a start. Their wage bill has probably been a quarter of ours over that period too. We don’t make any money as a business, we lose £100m+ every single year, that’s why we’re in breach of P&L and they’re not.
Ideally I would bring in a strong quick versatile wide forward who can play up top, similar to richarlison, for when DCL inevitably ruptures his sphincter and then yes I think then I would try and find some reliable experienced fullbacks that can actually cross becasue we cannot rely on myko and Coleman going forwardBut would you be trying to sign wingbacks before a creative attacking player and a striker?
Sounds expensive.....strong quick versatile wide forward who can play up top, similar to Richarlison
Deffo bargains out there but our board will still lump 25 mill on Ben brereton diazSounds expensive.....

Well, all the posters saying we are going down I’m saying we aren’t -same as last seasonAre you basing this on any evidence at all or are you just saying it and presenting it as fact for a laugh?
I think we’ll end up with Ings. If you listen to franks last news conference here let’s slip about “obligation to buy, or whatever”. I reckon he was thinking about Ings. We might be trying to get a relegation clause out in though
