As I said before we could of signed emanuual Dennis on the 1st of January. Is that the type of player you want in? Would you be praising thelwell for how fast he acted? Or would you be kicking off that hes blown our merger budget on crap.

Because thats they calibre of players we would of been bringing in this early in the window. You chastised him for mcneil and Maupay but there the type of players we would of ended up with.

Its not like there's this slew of world beaters going to every other team battling relegation and were sat there with out finger up our noses.

Look at Southampton they've just signed a 30yo lad who's never left the Russian league. If we'd of signed him there would of been meltdowns.

Maupay scored like 25 goals in the Championship.

Maupay is a good player, the runs he makes are very good, the issue is, we haven’t a midfielder who can pick out a pass in between or behind the defence. I think that’s the issue more than maupay being a bad player as such

Considering we’ve been linked with Zaha every window for what seems like 7 years I thought his name would’ve come up recently. 6 months left, 6 goals & 2 assists in 16 PL games this season

Would be pretty wacky seeing as he wanted to join us when we were challenging for European positions and he was fighting relegation every year with palace.

Not sure why he wants to jump ship from midtable palace playing decent football with a few nice flair players to link up with to fight our relegation battle!

We’ve been looking for a striker since the summer, have had a full 6 weeks off from football and it’s now the 7th Jan and no forwards signed.

As much as I’m not convinced by Frank, he really has been majorly let down by Thelwell.

Thelwell was highly thought of as DOF at wolves but wolves had a weird relationship with that agent, who managed to get all his clients to wolves, mendes? Makes me wonder How much of an input did thelwell actually have at wolves, would he had been deemed highly thought of, if the wolves/agent link wasn’t there?

They had 6 full weeks to find someone worthy of a cheap signing

Just sums up the attitude that runs through the club. If something is difficult then they don't bother trying and give themselves a pass. Other clubs have a can do attitude and Everton have a complacent, loser mentality.

Seen a lot of Kasey palmer when at Bristol city. Talent is there, just half hearted most of the time. Would 100% swerve. Moments of brilliance, every so often. Lazy when not in possession of the football. Would be like the first couple years of iwobi. Almost like for like.

I was taking to someone from the club
about him after he had a really good game against us at youth level. He was easily the best player on the pitch.
He said the Chelsea coaches said exactly the same as you.
Wrong attitude, plays one good game then disappears.
