Disagree - he was crap.
He was the biggest coward on the pitch, hiding in plain sight and getting himself marked out of games, or putting in half arsed tackles and presses - he is worse than our current midfield options in every way except probably passing, and even then most of his passes went backwards. Overrated, overpaid imposter.

James was the one we should have kept - he had proper stardust in his boots.

I’m under no illusions that Sighurdson was a great player with no flaws or that we couldn’t have got far better for the money spent on him. He was a mid table player. Would have happily seen him replaced, just not by Alex Iwobi, Demari Gray, Townsend, Maupay or the other cast of championship misfits we now have.

James when he played was amazing, would have been good with the legs of Gana and Onana behind him.
