I have to laugh at all the posts in the summer or over Christmas saying we'd be fine, the board will have a forward lined up in January
What happens if we get a forward line in the next 20 days?

If they are good, we have a good chance at staying up.What happens if we get a forward line in the next 20 days?

Maybe but he's now turning it around at least they've been proactive haven't sat on their hands in blind hope as we stare into oblivion!!!!A new manager who has lost all 5 of his league matches so far. (I think)
Yeah I would have to.Then do you take back the laughs?
Then do you take back the laughs?
Tell your old man he’s spot on mate, absolutely spot on.My dad just laughed his head off at that! He reckons Clough senior was a Greaves level poacher (albeit mostly outside the first division) and then got snapped in two by some grock and was never the same again.
Ross Barkley scored another 2 goals for nice today
No, it's not great - but is he really getting the optimal performance from each of them? I don't expect miracles, but 9 defeats in 12 gets you the sack at any club with any pretence of ambition. The argument that the likes of Gordon has hamstrung Frank doesn't really stack up when Frank made a huge play of keeping what he called a "special" player. So he must have rated him. If he didn't, he'd surely have looked to sell. If he did rate him, his judgement must be called into serious question if he is getting all he can out of him...That's fine.
But when you're 'creative' players are Gordon, McNeil, Gray and Iwobi - who is creative of course but rather erratic to say the least - then you know... it's not great.
Doubt we can afford himLast time I looked, Ings was still Villa's top goalscorer this season and is still popular with the fans. Villa won't be letting him go anywhere on loan and £10m wouldn't even be countenanced. They may consider taking a moderate hit on the £25m+ they paid for him and get his £125k a week off the books if they identify a top class striker who'd be willing to join a non-CL team but thats a stretch at the moment.....
Think this is where you might be going wrong…No, it's not great - but is he really getting the optimal performance from each of them?
