Onana is on holiday supposedly wouldn't surprise me if it's in London with Arsenal and Chelsea would be insane to sell him now he will be worth more next summer and he's the only quality in our midfield
I was mentioned on the royal blue podcast yesterday that he was seen in Manchester airport on Sunday night and they asked him what he was up to and was told he’s been allowed annual leave to go home for 5 days hahahaha. In the middle of relegation battle and we are letting people go on holiday.

I'm not sure how selling 2 of the few good young players you have and reinvesting on likely older more experienced players to get you out of short term trouble is helpful for long term stability if i'm honest. It's a desperate move, not a sustainable plan.
That part would be very stupid, we agree. Buying more young players with more dart throws from other prospect's returns, that then could be sold for similar returns is quite literally the only way I see we get out of this longterm broadly.

Facts are right now we are the worst team in the division with more chances of going down than not. The possibility that come the summer we have been relegated, Gordon demands a move that because of the drop is a return thats been cut in half, the same with Onana for a collective return of around 50 million is extremely plausible. When the conversation is a difference of possibly 35/40 million selling now oppose to then, when literally one of those players is replacement level at present it has to be discussed as who else rostered is going to generate funds for us to improve a championship side.

I would rather not sell Onana but its worthy of discussion as the situation is what it is. I personally have no qualms with selling Gordon as I think his market is inflated and currently he isn't a factor in surviving or not. If we can make a decent profit I see no reason why 4 or 5 prospects could not be brought in over the next two windows of similar potential, in play and possible future returns. A possibility that seriously may be our only chance back into the first division or stay in the premier league longterm as I don't see how else we get better.

So I've just woken up for my night shift and there's so much news I can't keep up.
This is what I can gather
Gordon and Onana weren't training and Gordon is having talks with United lite.
We have been West Hammed by Spurs over that forward.
Biesla is favourite and nobody apart from one man and his dog ( Sharpy special) are happy.
Thelwell is like my missus in a shoe shop. Lots of groping but end up with Lonsdale specials.

I hate this club.

Selling Gordon along with Keane, Holgate and other non-essential players is fine.

Then bring in 3 new attackers.

Selling Onana mid season would be suicide unless it was £90mil and we had 3 u21 starters ready to sign and hit the ground running.

Why do you keep acting like we can just press the 3 new attackers button and they’ll magically drop from the sky? There is one week of the window left. We literally had an attacker signed and sealed as of this morning and we couldn’t even get that over the line. We are not getting 3 new attackers in the next week.
