Begovic, Patterson, Holgate, Branthwaite, Mykolenko is good enough for a mid-table finish in the Championship next season.

Gueye, Iwobi and Davies might be alright as a midfield three, and Maupay with Simms up front. Maybe use McNeil as a number 10.

Only question for me is which of the three relegation places we'll finish in, not that it really matters.

We've already established an ok Championship squad, but will need some decent additions if we want a shot at promotion next season.

I get the thinking, but we are like 3 points off 15th, with a new manager bounce to come and almost certainly a better manager than Lampard to follow. It would be madness to effectively cause our own relegation.

I mean honestly, had we have had any of of our past managers, I honestly think we would have probably won a couple of the last few games and be where Forest are. We just have to hope we can get a decent manager for the 2nd half of the season, as fortunately you have about 5 other woeful teams.
