Shows the state of it when you would rather stay at Brighton than play for Everton. The full media pr now transferring to players and agents. Its working.

Don't know why we are targeting players from teams like Brighton, they are highly unlikely to want to come here where they are going to be in a team that hardly has possession of the ball and have to do lots of running, the opposite of Brighton.
The phrase “they are going to be in a team” is the key one though, no? If a club accepts a loan offer for you it’s a message you won’t be playing and an opportunity to go do so. You should probably take it.

….agree, he looks a different athlete now. Clearly something was amiss, I can understand a few clubs being interested.
He can survive in a back 3 where his lack of height and judgment isn’t as critical and ability to recover using his speed can come into use covering the wingback.

He’s not a modern day centre back though, the press means that CB’s need to be able to knock the ball about under pressure.

Possibly, but as I said many of the Brighton players are very 'technical players' they are not going to want to play in a Dyche setup mate no matter how much you try and dress it up, it is a concern for us I don't care what people say.

I said 30 games a season , meaning he would be an established prem player.

And FYI , 20m is no longer “ a lot of money “ in this league .

Even if he doesn’t establish himself they would be able to sell him for 10m or so in a couple of seasons to a championship club and it would not go down as a loss on PSR.

These are the kind of signings we should be making .

And before you say we have no money, I’m well aware of that. I’m just saying that I think palace are doing the right things and recruiting sensibly thats all
Well James garner was half
the price And was an integral part of forest getting promoted.
This kid has done nothing yet,
22mil is ridiculous

I don't understand players who have been given permission by their clubs to leave not wanting to take up an offer of a loan.
If their club allows them to leave it surely means they are not in their plans in the short term.

The loan until the end of the season is for less than four months and gives a player a chance to get games to either attract a new buyer or get back to full fitness if coming back from injury.

Of course, all these stories need to be taken with a large pinch of salt.

If you were a midfielder who enjoyed possession of the ball why would you want to play under Dyche?

How much possession of the ball do you get sitting on the bench?

Maybe Big Bad Dyche is a factor, but if someone would rather twiddle their thumbs than go play some footy for a few months even if- gasp!- they might need to work hard and run about, then that attitude probably explains why they are warming their clubs benches in the first place.
