If you were a midfielder who enjoyed possession of the ball why would you want to play under Dyche?
Because you get the chance to play, maybe influence how a team performs, increase your value and give yourself the chance to earn more.

I don't think Onana, Garner or Doucoure believe that playing under Dyche is hindering their career... or Branthwaite, Mylkolenko, McNeill or Harrison either.

Mate … name me one big money signing that has been a financial success or even a success on the pitch . other than lukaku .. who wasn’t actually that big a signing as far as fee. ( bolasie, Richy, siggy, iwobi all cost more than him) all of our best players have been players with hunger , their best years in front of them and with a point to prove .

You say “ one or two successes”

Lescott
Arteta
Cahill
Baines
Stones
Brathwaite
Jags

All came from lower leagues and gave us our best team we have had in the prem.

It’s all good saying we have to scout and identify players but we clearly do not have a network to do that at this stage .

We need to get our heads above water fast , and recruiting hungry , young players is the safest and fastest way to do it
Is at the right price but agree with you

Its just such a basic way of looking at things we need to scout good players and get them for the right amounts of money it doesn't matter where they come from some players bought from the championship are good some are embarrassingly bad just the same as other types of transfers but people latch on to one or two examples of successes and repeat them forever as if thats whats bound to happen with every other player.
Nail on the head there mate, some of our fans can be very snobby about where players are from (leagues/countries) It should always be about whether the player actually fits the profile we are looking for. The reason the likes of Brighton are good at this stuff is they look at profile not location, they are not phased by signing someone from some backwater South American league or Scandinavia, they are more interested in the individual fitting the profile they are looking for.

What even is this post I don't know where to start. Lukaku was almost twice our previous biggest fee for a start so saying that wasn't a big signing is wrong from the start and then Arteta Baines and Jagielka didn't come from lower leagues and Stones and Branthwaite are totally different types of signings to the 20 mil type you're talking about so not good examples at all. Hungry young players is just such a cringey buzzwordy thing it doesn't even mean anything what are they hungry for and how can you ever know how hungry they are? Loads of the bad signings we've made have looked like they would be young and hungry but then they've failed anyway. I'm obviously not saying we should avoid players from the championship just that it doesn't matter where we're signing them from we just need to find the right players whether its from the championship the premier league or Timbuktu doesn't matter.

The winger from Norwich? So the player who’s name you don’t even know, have probably never seen play but are convinced you know how much he will sell for?

Don’t Leeds want 40m for Summerville?
35m for gnoto ?

Also palace don’t need wingers ..

if you don’t want to buy highly rated championship players for “ that price “ that leaves us signing more expensive , higher risk players . This is what has gotten us into this situation .

Or you can go for 15m players like Maupay or top 6 fringe players like Morgan, Walcott etc that cost over 20mil anyway and usually loose all motivation when they “ step down” to a club like us
Of course I know his name it’s Rowe, do you want his date of birth and bloodline ? Ffs go and have a sit down.

And yes I’ve seen him play the Point is 22mil for that kid is ridiculous and there’s much better value out there, palace can have him

Are you a palace fan, I’m not arsed what palace need or don’t need . I was pointing imo and that’s all it is an opinion, that palace have over paid. And I’d imagine most would agree with me, but you’re wetting your knickers over it.

You know they’re hungry by meeting them like Moyes did, by doing homework . Talking with them.

Lukaku was our record signing for a year or so then in came bolasie for the same money , siggy for 45m .

I already acknowledged he was a success ..

The question was , from our other big signings , who have been success stories ?

Who have we made money off?

Beacuse siiggy and Richy netted together cost us minus 85m in transfer fees together .

We should have been all over that Hamilton.

I just said I think it’s a sensible signing … giving my opinion and you started basing your opinion on the fact that “ that winger from Norwich “ who’s name you don’t even know … would “ probably “ cost 30m

His names Rowe and he’s got 12 goals in 27 games. And a lot of teams are looking at him, he’s getting linked with Villa, spurs , Brighton. Lazio wanted him last week.

What are you talking about? I think Richy as in Richarlison you mean but we didn't lose money on him so I don't know what you mean by that. I never said our big signings have been good so I don't know what the point of this is at all you seem very confused about your own point.
