Probably can’t get Summerville as Leeds look like they’ll be coming back up but Jonathan Rowe at Norwich seems to be a class winger and is only 20 so I hope we go for him (England u21 asw). Dyche likes going after championship players so he fits the bill and hopefully he can be an Olise style bit of business.

Would like to see us get in a Doucoure style player, but I get that these are hard to come by, maybe if Danjuma goes back we could be looking for another player like him on loan. I think when Danjuma came in the idea was he would compete for the number 10 position with Doucoure, as well as the wide positions, but he has barely featured since August/ September and now Dobbin is getting in ahead of him.

Smith-Rowe from Arsenal has been mentioned as a possible loan player, I think he could be decent and offer us something different.

He’s an excellent player, but could see him at Villa unfortunately for us. We need a doucoure, who can create and offer something different in the 10 role. Like we need a winger who offers something different than McNeil and Harrison, ideally a new first choice one, I just don’t see dyche ever moving away from hardworking players over flair players.

Love him but he’s a bit short for my liking

5'11 would make him taller than many top and world class centre backs.

Hes been highly rated for 2 years or so. I do lile the strategy of bringing in young English internnationals. Hopefully we get him and Wharton.

Any MLS watchers on here? Just seen this list & wondered if there’s anyone of interest. Considering Thelwell’s NYRB experience I wouldn’t be surprised if he looks at that league. Almiron & Duran have proved to be decent additions in recent years.

MLS January transfer targets

Almada would be the obvious standout for the Doucoure role. Not sure he has the physicality but I think we need more creativity to improve our home form. Mile Robinson on a free as CB cover as well?

Hes like a cheat code in that league.

Please name the many.
Franco Baresi 50 years ago.

Was just watching the Ben Foster podcast with Tarks, he was touching on this, he said he has been a player for 13 years and he says even his time he has seen how much the game has changed. Said the most important thing currently is athletic ability.

Not really a surprise like, but I found it interesting.

In short, say no to 5 11 CBs!

Yeh there were some amazing ones but modern day PL you have to be extra special in defense if you're not even 6ft.
