….looks left-sided although right footed. Has he any history of playing RB (when I saw the link, I sort of hoped he was a RB).

Well John Terry was left sided but right footed & Edwards is only 20. An age where he isnt necessarily always going to be in that position.

No reason why he cant play DM or FB. Although, the football for Peterborough will have seen him face alot of agricultural teams. He'll have faced 6'6 centre forwards at corners and it doesnt seem to have affected him at all.

Hopefully this is a developing situation.

Would like to see us get in a Doucoure style player, but I get that these are hard to come by, maybe if Danjuma goes back we could be looking for another player like him on loan. I think when Danjuma came in the idea was he would compete for the number 10 position with Doucoure, as well as the wide positions, but he has barely featured since August/ September and now Dobbin is getting in ahead of him.

Smith-Rowe from Arsenal has been mentioned as a possible loan player, I think he could be decent and offer us something different.
Surely that's the Dele role

A player ive always liked i have to admit a good nuts and bolts pro and a good leader who would add to the squad. Think ive said as much when we've played them in the Cup.

Always felt he was a bit underrated, coming from the lower leagues and playing at unfashionable Burnley.

….seems like he might be in a contract dispute, Burnley can trigger an extension in the summer. Links could be agent talk to get him a better deal or he might know other clubs are interested and fancies a move. I don’t mind him too.

Would say the threshold for a sale would be low enough if they go down mate, with not long to go on his contract and if he knew there was interest elsewhere he'd prob sit on his hands.

Id hope not personally, but if we do I can only see it as an extra body in the squad to cover Gana going to the AFCON, I certainly wouldn't want him starting games.
He will though as he is one of Dyche favorites from his Burnley days. But indeed maybe lazy journalism or agent trying to get him a better deal .only makes sense for the summer if Onana leaves and the ageing Gana
