One of the impressive things about how well he's done is thats it’s done on the back of very little game time - 14 games for Carlisle, 6 for our U23s and two PL appearances. At about 6foot 4 ins he’s got the physical attributes to be a PL Centre back, but we’ve seen so little of him at this level it’s hard to tell if he’s got the other attributes needed. It hardly seems worth risking further injuries to Mina/Holgate , start him in at least one of the last 2 games . I won’t say , give him a chance ,it can hardly get worse as we all know with Everton it can .

Nice to see the lad get a chance and I thought he did well, even played a few decent passes out (one out to the left wing was impressive). Definitely need to give him more game time to see if he can be part of the squad and save the cash of another CB purchase.
