I posted in the summer i think Keane will be out of the team and Branthwaite in during 2nd half of the season.

Few hiccups but also some really brave defending. Another player woefully short on match practice though.

A few errors but mentality is there and he has the tools.

Use a back 4 and have him in there.

I dont think hes ready for these high pressure games. But I dont know if we a better option either. He did ok but mistakes are inevitable at his age and we need steady defending.

He didn't look anywhere near ready. Keane and Holgate are terrible too though. Basically a no win scenario whoever we put in at centre half right now.

Our defending this year just makes me sad. No lead will be safe and we cant grind out a result because the mistake is around the corner.

I dont have a problem with playing the lad but its almost unfair on him. We are completely abysmal and there's not one good partner for him. Inexperienced centre halves need help and he won't get it.

Had zero support from the supposed experienced professionals either side of him. Would let him play the rest of the season as the other options just don't work.

Townsend didn’t help him at all. Townsend was getting bullied by Trippier there was only Gordon that was up for the fight.
