Yeah of course thats exactly how it works teams spend months bidding for a player and then sit down with his agent and find out he wants 10 times more they can afford or just has no interest in coming. You keep telling yourself that lad.

Of course they will speak to agents unofficially. But it’s literally being reported as terms agreed. Which would say they have full permission to speak to him and for that to be made public.

Anyone with a contract going in to the last year is fair game to sell. We've let too many high value players walk away without taking a fee. It's a case of sign a new deal or be sold.

We haven’t had many high value players to let go for free, it’s getting rid of the crap players we’ve always struggled with. I don’t DCL going anywhere, if he wants plenty of game time he won’t be getting much of it at any teams in the top 10.
