Well we could do, that is an actual option if need be.

I said it earlier in this thread and I’ll say it again, I would genuinely rather keep Branthwaite for another season and take a 3/4 PSR penalty, than let him go on the cheap and have Keane play centre half for us. Having Branthwaite in the team would more than likely win us more points than what we’d have deducted.

it's almost like the narrative ( from the media as well ) is like how dare we not accept their measly offer

The narrative in the media seems to be that because Man Utd have over spent on garbage for years now then Everton should be reasonable with our valuation and accept a lower offer. Just shows the bias and influence some of these clubs have in getting their messages out.
