2023/24 Jarrad Branthwaite

Even if we didn't need to sell, he'd be off anyway, if he carries on the way he has been.

Even when we were rolling in dough shortly after Moshiri took over, John Stones was off. Lukaku weren't that far behind out the exit door either.

Until the day arrives when we can match the wages on offer from clubs like City, Real, Man Utd etc, then we will always struggle to keep hold of top players. Even If we had Champions League, it would be difficult if one the of the aforementioned clubs can offer double, maybe triple the wages we can.

Yes, it's a closed shop at the top. Which is a shame as there used to be a method of building a side and getting to the top now even the horse fondlers won't be breaking that ceiling any time soon with all their owners money, the brand /CL cartel have got themselves in position then FFP was brought in to make sure they stayed there.

They're even starting to hoard the best young players now so they don't have to shell out decent transfer fees to the feeder clubs going forward.

Yeah…sadly he’s just that good it’s only a matter of time.

Hard to escape the thought he’s Stones natural successor, but really hope we see him wear our blue at BMD before he helps pay for it.

doesnt matter on his age, i think he could go to any team in the world and play regular and still be class, got everything. when he does go it'll be a shame but it should be record money for a defender.

Obviously will be sold but hopefully get another 18 months from him.
18m at most. We are going to need at least one bug money sale each year. Realistically, our most valuable asses are Branthwaite, Onana and Pickford.

It's going to depend on what bids come in as to who we keep this year.

Ideally, I'd like another year of Branthwaite so that we:
a) benefit from him for another year
b) get even more money for him next summer

If we have to sell him then sell him for loads, and include another sell on clause for loads for all future transfers.

We should make loads then!

Now Bill has departed who do we think is making the deals at the moment?
