I do feel for the kid but it puts us in a awkward position. We can't sell him, we can't terminate his contract, we're left with a player who's spent a third of his contract out injured having only played a game and half and all we can do is give him the time, space and support to come back and hopefully he does but the misinformation about his recovery at times is very concerning. Mid December we were told he was a couple of weeks from joining the team again. only a few days ago we were told him and Allan were due back in training but now Allan's back and no sign of him. More concerning is the lack of footage of him training to get back. The RS post a new picture of the greatest defender in the world every day either walking or something. We've not see the lad for over a year. I get It was a serious injury and personally i thought the time frame was optimistic but still it's all very odd.

I would guess that he is physically fit now but hasn't any football played or been involved in team training.
They will involve him when they feel he is mentally and physically ready

I do expect he will play this season but I would guess that management will be happy if he is fully fit for the start of next season

I doubt that he is involved in any plans they have for the rest of the season and use him when he is ready.
