They said in November he was a couple of weeks away from being able to play. It's now February and they're saying he hasn't even come back to light training yet. I don't mind them not giving updates and if he's had a setback then he's had a setback and in many was that's none of our business, but let's not make out like there's nothing to see here, it's definitely weird.

“Eight weeks” later (9 months) he did a club interview, talking about returning for the post lockdown run-in last season. The last time he was heard from.
Picked up an Achilles injury on the 28th May 2020 ruling him out for the rest of the year. McNulty gave a timescale of 9 months.
What I’d like to know is how the initial injury ended up putting him out for 9 months.
