when I did a first ACL in 1993, there was a chap in my rehab who had snapped his Achilles, it looked an horrific injury, my rehab (then) was 9-12 months, his was 24 months so anything near 12 months now for Gbamin's Achilles injury is fantastic, he'll be back when he's ready. We don't want to Klopp him back too early.
Compared to that lad who did his, we’re talking 30 years of medical advancement, the best surgery and rehab money can buy, a tailored recovery plan, daily contact with doctors and experts, access to state of the art equipment... You get the point.

A random fella who did his way back when wouldn’t have had access to all that so you’d expect a hell of a lot longer recovery time.

Yakubu was back in less than 8 months.

personally I think we need to write this season off for JP and just assume that if we see him then it is a bonus and will be used as a free run to get into the routine of playing football again.

Before he signed for us he was in demand and I have no doubts he has the potential to be a great player if he can return to form

Come back stronger mate.

Worth a mention that Gomes' physique and figure has only just started to look like his old self these last couple of weeks and hes been back for months.

yeah thats the pointi'mtrying to make, its still a big injury and a significant length of time to come back but it could realistically be anything from 7-12 months even with the best health support available.

How many players go nearly two years without playing any football, and manage to be the same player. His last game was October 2019, he hes still not even able to train with the team (think Carlo said hes due to though)

Will be a bonus if there is any kind of player left though.
There is a lad by the name of Carlo who is employed by Everton who was out injured for 2 years and came back as good as new
You might have heard of him his surname is Ancelotti

Feel sorry for the lad but got to say surely the club should let all of us supporters what's going on with is problems. If it was a company and the was a problem shareholders would be informed. Arnt we as supporters season ticket holders entitled to know what actually is going on with him .were all listening to crumbs of rumours imo.

Nope. If it was a normal company they would not comment on an employee’s fitness to work.
