Have got to say, the club have handled his long absence from a perception point of view extremely poorly. There has been no effort whatsoever to endear him to fans, to make anyone care about having him in the Everton family,

No interviews, no fresh photos for absolutely ages, no engagement with fans through something like an online Q&A (which would be easy to set up). It's like he's been white washed from all club media. It's no wonder people are being so dismissive and a bit cruel about his predicament, they don't know anything about the fella.

Woeful.

The last thing we need is for him the become hyped beyond belief in the interim period and then come as squad player. He has been out a long time with injury, no one knows if he will make the grade after this lay off. Let’s consider bolasie, yakubu and even Gomes.

He’s literally mentioned in every press conference and has his own social media pages which he’s not particularly active on which makes him look like a private guy. Maybe he’s not the type to do Q&A’s or doesn’t speak good enough English for them either.

But any excuse to bash the club eh?

There was a lot of club media stuff with him going around for weeks around the time he signed and he looked happy/comfortable doing it all. Think he even got interviewed again shortly before he got injured the last time.

Think the club have just decided to keep it all a bit quiet now until he's properly back.

Maybe they know something we don't.

Gomes was out for 8-10 weeks, how on earth can you compare him to the other 3?

Can't imagine the odds are in favor on Gbamin being anything near what he was when Everton bought him. He's had two very serious injuries and hasn't played football in a long, long time.
