Given that he’s probably about 8th in the midfield pecking order, if he’s really in it at all we should have gone all out to get him a loan, even if it meant paying his whole wage. That’s the only way he’s going to see game time and maybe try to get some confidence back.

The fact a loan didn’t materialise, when we’d surely have been happy to allow it, coupled with murmurs he may have refused to play u23 games for fitness, points to a guy who has possibly given up and maybe just has no interest in finding his way back into the game.

Don’t expect the journalists covering us to ask anything insightful. I have never seen a club less challenged by the journalists that cover it than this club. Too busy writing books about the glory years instead of trying to ask questions about why those glory years as so long ago

Excuses or not my patience with him ran out ages ago.

I'm glad he hasn't played. Wish the same happened for about 90% of our signings. Especially in the time frame when we signed him.

Yeah but i mean if a journalist asks they're not going to say 'yeah there's no way he can play at this level again' if they want to sell him or get his wages off the books. I agreed when he was still out that they didn't communicate it well but now I'm not sure what else they can say, the fact that he's fit but not getting onto the pitch tells us as much as we're ever going to know really.

Another member of the deadwood club just want to get his wages. Wish we could get rid.

Surely there has to be a way we can afford to get shut of them, pay them off or what ?

I thought he he did alright in the 20mins when he came on v Chelsea back in December, looked fairly quick still. Strange one, thought he’d kick on after that but we haven’t seen him since.
