Doesn't matter a jot. Grayson didn't help the situation - as he came out with this statement

That didn't exactly help the situation with Leeds fans giving him stick did it?

Or the fact they've been losing games under Grayson's watch.

Beckford's just the focal point for criticism because their team's not performing and is unbalanced. But the Leeds blerts don't recognise that.

No wonder he wants out to us.

Im for the move, but reading those comments isnt heartwarming.

Also at the Leeds game yesterday and thought Beckford was worse than useless! No passion shown to win any of the second balls. A lazy player who will get found out with his poor touch in a higher league. Please Mr Grayson don't be afraid to drop your "stars" and lets have Becchio and Gradel up front against Carlisle.

If Moyes has been "monitoring his form", then he'll not be going to Everton. Beckford has been absolute dross since the start of the year, and has done nothing to impress anyone who may have been watching him with a view to signing him.

Hes been bordering on absolute dross since January. A prima donna who thinks he is better than Leeds United, he has put no effort or desire into any of his performances since handing in a transfer request.

Before January he scored 20 goals in 27 games, Since handing in his request he has scored 7 in 20 games with only 4-5 of them coming from open play. The fans are against him, and he is against the fans, and shows that with certain gestures he has made on numerous occasions in that time.

34 goals in 47 games id have that to be fair!

He's not gonna be a player like AJ. Now he grafted and got vital goals and had pace.

AJ did well for us mate, he was found though, by the second half of his first season teams knew he relied on his pace and was easily knocked of the ball - he also got a bad reputation for diving. After all this there was no plan b.

Not knocking him, but he was a limited player good for us at that satge of our development.

But he's a far better striker than Beckford in all fairness even when he was found out. Beckfords gonna add something different, but its not gonna be a big development. Like I say, he's better back up that Vaughan and Anichebe. Just trying to play it down cos some fans think he'll be hot [Poor language removed]. Cant see it.

Anyway FREEEE!

In League 1.

Credit too him cause sticking the ball in the net is what its all about but i reckon theres been loads of strikers over the years who have scored for fun in the lower leagues.

Lambert Southampton 26 Holt Norwich 24 Barnard Southampton 23 Paynter Swindon 22 Beckford Leeds United 21
How about any of the other 4 guys? Why Beckford and his bad attitude over them to a club which prides itself on a decent team spirit and dressing room unity. And whose players dont make offensive gestures to the fans or get a sulk on.
