Nice one , kid , but this one was Matty's . I only asked after . I am personally underwhelmed , tbh , - that's maybe why he never told me early , which he normally does , and did with Silva - . Fact remains , Matty broke this one .
Credit where it's due , an' all .

With requisite fukn respect to MY EGO !!!

Well to be fair, GRAYSON broke this one, but I found it interesting to get confirmation in between Grayson's smoke and mirrors (from someone in the playing staff of Leeds Utd).

I also think it excellent Everton did this on the quiet and also have made absolutely no comment whatsoever on the subject (not doing a Man City.... and exactly what Moyes complained about over Lescott may I add - class and dignity in action there... the old NO COMMENT).

I think its good as unlike the bitter Leeds fans I think this lad is far better suited than Jo was (with pace and a willingness to scrap) but also has experience of what it's like not in the big-time and to appreciate the opportunity he's getting.

The leeds supporter comments are just down right bitterness given how many goals he's scored for them and so forth.

When he was scoring goals against Man Utd and Spurs they weren't complaining.

Its all gone tits up because their entire team has failed to perform (in their eyes) since Xmas. But Beckford's the easy target because he's leaving.

I'll stand by the point this lad will do the business for us. Matt Damon said so.

I look forward to this being just one of many new additions to the Everton-fold this summer... as LCAB has indicated. Thats three. and the more the better going into our push for Champions League next season!!!!!

THIS .

If he got double figures he would be worth it.

Its gonna be Yak season next year.....then if he's a little off the boil when he's on 20 goals...Saha will step in and have the hunger.

Beckford will have cameo appearences in the Carling Cup and in the league, hopefully chomping and trying to score but will always be 3rd choice striker.

Lets see, be usefull to switch formations during a game or as unlikley as it might be start with a 4-4-2 and Beckford strikes me as someone who can play with Yak, Saha, and Vic and compliment them.

But i take your point the Yak is prob the most gifted footballer we have!

Totally agree. He'll do us a job that Vaughan and Victor cannot. Free transfer so no brainer, if he's poor the Barcodes will sign him for a mill or so.

To be fair mate big Vic has Mucho impresed me of late. I think people need to stop thinking of him as a contender for scoring 20 in a season and appreciate what he brings to the team - which on his day can be utter carnage.

Said that for a while.

Being played as an attacking winger he's found a position he can shine at because he's not scared to run at players, likes to float in the box, also finds a way to help out the loan striker. When he's played he's been involved in a lot of goals/build ups. He maybe does need a loan out for half or full season to give him games but he's a premiership player and very useful to Everton.

Sure has mate, the trick now will be consistencey and making a space in the team his own!
