At the moment he is a big fish in a small pond, which probably plays a factor in his current arrogance. A move to a big club will soon sort that out and humble him a little, there's no way he will be trying to lord it over the likes of Arteta et al.

When Bobby Zamora was banging in goals after goals for Brighton there were questions if he could make the step up, and he is doing alright, nothing more, mothing less. People will probably say that is not good enough for us, but on a free, the hunger to prove himself, he might just do alright and if he doesn't pack sell him at the end of the season for a quick profit. Its gotta be a win, win situation.

THIS.

Having someone I know at Leeds, the difference to there and Everton is - Moyes for one and Everton being and already established top team.

Moyes won't take any messing. He never has. Firm but fair. If the lad wants to play he'll have to work hard and behave.

Beckford can be nowty on the pitch thats fine, we lack a "scrapper" upfront who'll scrap if necessary.

But off it - well - this isn't Leeds this is Everton and he'll be expected to be part of the team and muck in. Or he simply wont play.

And when Saha and Yakubu are either injured/uninterested or out of form (as has happened rather a lot this season) who do we have in reserve?

Anichebe and Beckford. Anichebe already gets a lot of [Poor language removed] for his attitude but doesn't exactly bang them in so if Beckford works out fine.

If not we have lost out because we have someone who is being relied upon to score goals but thinks he is billy big bollocks.

Thats the risk.

I'm just worried that potentially all of our stikers next season have big question marks over them.

He's doing a fair bit better than alright, Zamora's been boss this year. If we get Beckford for free and emulates Zamora's form from this year then it'll be some coup.
