To be honest, I'd say Becchio has better instant control, but I think Moyes could turn him into the great player he really has potential to be.

He's on a free. What's the harm in trying him out? If he doesn't make it at Everton, I'm sure we can make a nice profit if he moves on. Here's hoping he has a Cahill like impact for us though.

But yeah, I'll be sad to see him go but I could think of worse things happening than seeing Beckford in a royal blue shirt, possibly taking Everton into the top four. And like I said, yesterday was a nice little sendoff.

I was talking to a few mates yesterday about him moving, and quite a few said that he would crash and burn Everton, and that he's too lazy. I don't think this will happen. We've seen him at his best, and he is more than capable of playing for a Prem club of Everton's calibre. His laziness, I reckon, stems from the fact that he couldn't always be arsed playing in League One and wanted something more. Plus Grayson isn't half the manager Moyes is and I think Moyes could turn him into the great player he has potential to be.
The problem with him at Leeds was his inconsistency but 31 goals. Not even some of the best strikers in the Prem have achieved that this season.
