Lets be honest though we wouldn't even consider making a move for Grant Holt or Ricky Lambert and they have scored just as many goals as Beckford has this season and are proven goalscorers at that level.The only real thing that makes him a possible is that he is free and has a bit of pace.The fact he is free makes it even more possible as we haven't got a pot to piss in.

To be fair its not like its a league down...its 2 leagues. Even in the Championship Kevin Nolan gets you 17 goals in a season.
And I will say that Jags didnt get into the Sheff United 1st team till 2003 and had Premier League teams after him for a while but he wanted to say. Also played for the England under 21's. When they got back into the Prem he looked like a prem player...So IMO you cant have the Jags one.
You can have Cahill.
But Beckford aint no Cahill.

Yeah but unbeknown to him i swapped his steel chair for a balsawood one so any attack he makes now is just gonna fall to pieces.
You think if he's that great that he scored 30 goals in league one and scored against Man U and Spurs there'd be more than just us "taking a look" at him on a free cause we're skint.

Man, what's with all the rage over this guy? He's free isn't he?
At one point this year he was the talk of the month, everybody wanted/needed him. Sure he's cooled down & maybe some talk of attitude problems. But geez, what's the worst that can happen? He's a bust, & you sell him for 1-2mil? Sorry, not seeing the downside. If it's character, then I wouldn't worry. Between Moyes & the strong veteran leadership, I'm not sure CR9 could ruin this locker room. Ok, well maybe HE could. But you get the drift.
