So first of all, Leeds doesn't lose when Beckford scores. That's a cool stat. Anyway Out of his 20 goals, 12 of his goals tied the game or gave Leeds the lead.

I've watched him play quite a few times and he is nowhere near premiership class, a decent championship player but that is about his limit, in the same vein as Robbie Earnshaw. I can only hope that all this talk is his agent trying to prod Newcastle into making a move now rather than later. I agree for free you can't go wrong but i would rather take a chance on one of the youth players than this guy.
 
I've a few mates who are leeds fans and they rate him to an extent but they prefer becchio and, one for the future deffo - snodgrass!
 

I remember hearing a rumour that Vic could be for the knacker yard due to his injury. Our favoured 451 is not going to change anytime soon with the players we have in the squad so bringing in a free striker who is likely to be purely back up doesn't cause me any worries at all.

As pointed out repeatedly if he doesn't work out we'll still get a million or two shipping him back to the Championship, think DJ Campbell without the initial fee. A billy big balls attitude in the lower leagues doesn't mean he'd act that way surrounded by our quality international players.

I like the centre half . Aussie kid . Snodgrass is decent , but the little Antipodean winger can have a go , too .
P.S. Pls don't tell McB I rated a couple of Aussies . He'll think I'm back on the beer .
 

Didn't Beckford say he was staying with Leeds the rest of the year.
I wouldn't mind seeing him stay with Leeds to see if he can get Leeds back in the EPL next year. It won't happen...but
