2024/25 Jesper Lindstrom

I think hes been completely mismanaged and neglected as a player by dyche, I'll probably get stick for this post but i think he has talent and there's potential for moyes to resurrect his importance to the squad. I don't believe he's been utilized properly along with the attacking aspects of our game were so shambolic and discombobulated nobody was going to thrive

TBH I think every single attacking player gets another chance, even Harrison. Obviously I expect most of them to still look pathetic, but at least give them an opportunity to confirm that under one more manager.

+1 for discombobulated, a great word from the past.

You'll get stick over Lindstrom because he is the current whipping boy for the old da's on here.

Can usually see that by the reason to write him off constantly morphing into the next thing, first it was not being up for the fight, due to one game he got taken off after seeming to let his head drop, then after he showed he was it's currently not being strong enough for the league . Yanno the same league that saw such powerhouses as Osman, Silva, Zola, Jorginho, and countless other players who physically would get blown over by a stuff breeze do just fine in.

Ofc it could be that he's not strong enough to play in a Dyche side where the winger is expected to play as a makeshift right back. That's a fair assesment - thankfully Dyche is gone and funnily enough the people slating Lindstrom are by and large ones who also want to see more attacking footy...

Moyes will like him btw, he's worked with players like him before a d got results, Pienaar was very very similar when he arrived from Dortmund, physically sleight player who'd had a big move and seen a slump in form who initially struggled with the physicality of this league - until he adjusted and Moyes found how best to utilise him, same will happen with this lad I'm betting.

Cahill was a deceptive wind up merchant, he must have been a nightmare to play against.
Absolutely especially how good he was in the air and he was just fearless , if a defender wasn't familiar with his handiwork they were in for a surprise , moyes even made an average supposedly lightweight naismith a serviceable squad player

I want every player who pulls on the jersey to do well but Lindström is I fear not the player we thought looking at YT ,this league is the toughest and he is too easy to push off the ball. Take note I called it with lots of players but I would love to be wrong with him,Harrison and whoever else has been a whipping boy .
