2024/25 Jesper Lindstrom

So by that logic, everyone should be off Keane's back, as defenders make mistakes.

It's been a funny read on this forum, people slagged off Keane, when he did nothing wrong last night. Yet everyone is putting an arm round Lindstrom who missed 2 chances to win us the game. Many even trying to put the blame on Dyche for ruining him.
What a bizarre comparison.

Keane's been here for several years and for a VERY long time has been the recipient of amazing patience and support from much of the fan base. He's played more than a hundred and fifty times for us and has been woeful for most of them: we concede an average of just over two goals per game when he starts and he makes regular howling errors that lead directly to goals. The odd "nothing wrong" game in a cup defeat does NOT make up for the consistency with which he lets us down in Prem fixtures.

Lindstrom's been here a month.

One of these players has potential to grow into a useful role for us. The other is an IKEA wardrobe pretending to be a footballer.

Michael Keane has received patience and support from much of the fan base? Really?

Just out of interest how long should a player be at a club before he finishes one on one chances? He trains all week doesnt he?

You want to drop every player who ever misses a one-on-one?

Good plan. Can't see any issues with that.
I didnt say drop him. Again putting words in my mouth like so many on here are fond of doing. I just think its reasonable to expect professional footballers to finish relatively easy chances. Show me the bit where I said he should be dropped which led to your hilarious reply.
