2024/25 Jesper Lindstrom

Yeah I agree Dave I love a winger who can't beat a man, loses possession all the time, doesn't score but he does run hard usually after the person he forgot to track.
All about context mate. For us right now a hard working player who occasionally hands us a goal or assist is invaluable.

When we get a few quid to spend we can look down our noses at the Harrison's of this world.

Michael Keane works hard mate, he occasionally chips in with a goal.

Should start him I reckon.

And no mate, right now we can look down our noses at the Harrisons of this word because he's a truly awful player.

The play came through Ndiaye from the opposite side of the pitch. He was isolated with limited chances to impact anything.

The problem is he DID get the occasional chance and looked like he wasn’t ready. Seems a mental/focus issue off the ball and a confidence issue on the ball.
Seems thats the key with this guy, like many others in our side (McNeil, N'Diaye, Pickford, etc.) They need confidence from either being on top or being the scrappy underdogs with low possession. A few sub appearances would help him.
Harrison is not a good player wither btw. he seems to play better when chasing a contract or under threat of losing his place (remember that from Leeds fans when we first loaned him in.

Think it's foolish to write him off.

He's shown glimpses of what he's about though, admittedly, he didn't have the best of first halves today. It happens.

We're far, far too reactionary as a fanbase. The guy has quality.
Agree. He'll need lto adapt to the quality of PL and the pace of it. A goal or a decent assist will give him confidence.

Countless examples of European players who initially struggled with the English league, the English ethos etc, many of whom eventually flourished. Maybe he'll be one that fails, or just maybe he'll be successful.

And maybe, just maybe, making your mind up after a grand total of 145 Premier League minutes is just a bit too early.

Or maybe that's just me.

He strikes a ball well and can deliver crosses and corners with pace .

To early to give up on him as he has literally been in the country for a couple of months.

Needs to improve and I feel not having a 139 year old right back that constantly curls the ball down the line , may help him improve
I quite liked the 80s throwback lifted channel balls from Young tbh. Reminded me of Shagger trying to find Sharp. Or Phil Neville to nobody in particular. Ah Happy days
