All about context mate. For us right now a hard working player who occasionally hands us a goal or assist is invaluable.Yeah I agree Dave I love a winger who can't beat a man, loses possession all the time, doesn't score but he does run hard usually after the person he forgot to track.

When we get a few quid to spend we can look down our noses at the Harrison's of this world.
I literally said "Not having a good game" in the very first part of my post. He deserved to be hooked. I wont put a nail in his coffin over one game though. No f’ing way. Loser performance. Completely owns it himself. Sulking around on the pitch right in front of the manager. If he’s not dragged off at halftime, Dyche has no balls.
Seems thats the key with this guy, like many others in our side (McNeil, N'Diaye, Pickford, etc.) They need confidence from either being on top or being the scrappy underdogs with low possession. A few sub appearances would help him.The play came through Ndiaye from the opposite side of the pitch. He was isolated with limited chances to impact anything.
The problem is he DID get the occasional chance and looked like he wasn’t ready. Seems a mental/focus issue off the ball and a confidence issue on the ball.
Agree. He'll need lto adapt to the quality of PL and the pace of it. A goal or a decent assist will give him confidence.Think it's foolish to write him off.
He's shown glimpses of what he's about though, admittedly, he didn't have the best of first halves today. It happens.
We're far, far too reactionary as a fanbase. The guy has quality.
True. Plus Harrison was effective when he replaced him. After a promising game last week he deserved to start but in no way took his chance today might take a while to regain the trust by the manager
I quite liked the 80s throwback lifted channel balls from Young tbh. Reminded me of Shagger trying to find Sharp. Or Phil Neville to nobody in particular. Ah Happy daysHe strikes a ball well and can deliver crosses and corners with pace .
To early to give up on him as he has literally been in the country for a couple of months.
Needs to improve and I feel not having a 139 year old right back that constantly curls the ball down the line , may help him improve
