Absolutely - but the reality is still that he's a pretty good player who will strengthen the club he goes to - he may well get 10-15 goals in the season plus some assists

He's not coming with a transfer fee so that should be considered in total outlay

The likelihood is the Forest fans will get behind him and treat him as a hero - he probably knows if he comes to Everton he'll be sucked into the world of fan negativity and endless over the top criticism....

Dont get me wrong i rate him when he's motivated but ..

Forest like most newly promoted teams will usually have a bad patch (or longer) and if Lingards head goes down then the rest of the team wont be happy, nor will the fans.

Team and squad unity and togetherness is key to survival and I just dont see lingard as a battler.
