This might be the best post in the thread. How do I nominate someone for a Pulitzer?!?
And I honestly don't blame him for doing so.
We just shouldn't be encouraging his behaviour.

An American and Saudi Team apparentlyEverything about him screams terrible signing so I'm convinced we were in for him.
Well he meeting the Forest chairmen in London so if he goes there they have offered more than West Ham's 140I'd legit buy a hundred official J-Lingz branded hats and eat every single one of them if this was anywhere even close to being true. I could see WH wanting him for ~150k but they can afford it and offer top-end football. No way a likely/possible relegation team is offering what must surely be 5x their top earner for a lad who'll be 30 this season.

Will see how he performs next season I guess16 good games at West Ham during a career spanning ten years does NOT warrant a payday of £150k, £180k or 200k per week.
Seems like a fairly firm set of facts to me.
Daily Fail reported a 2 year deal on 180k a week. And that the reason its.broken down with WHU is that his agent wants millions as a fee.I'm hearing Forest have offered him 200 grand a week, dangerous territory, if they get relegated these high wages could cripple them especially if they don't have relegation clauses in their contracts

Everton arent real mate, its a figment of all our imaginations.
Agents shouldn't get anything from free transfer deals.Daily Fail reported a 2 year deal on 180k a week. And that the reason its.broken down with WHU is that his agent wants millions as a fee.
Surely Forest will need a relegation clause in that contract!
They probably could get away with it for a season in the Championship, that doesnt make it a good idea though. For a two year deal they could probably get away with it. They would bank on him being able to get them back up in the second year if the worst happened. Obviously you couldn't do that for 5+ players.
