He’s a classic Pozzo diamond. Plucked from South America for very little but with a good reputation. I’m surprised you and Newcastle are going after him now when he has so little goals/assists output. It does feel that he is just starting to step up though - had his most influential game for us in first game of the season. But it’ll be a big ask for him to try and have an influence on that Everton team. At least he’s different to what you’ve got. Weirdly Sarr is a much more direct goals and assists player with amazing pace but JP seems to be more sought after this week. He is fun to watch when he isn’t being too casual with the ball but not sure he’ll ever have the goals/assists of Sarr.
