He's a very good keeper and his quality easily makes up for his occasionaly blips

I agree with Davek on this one, I hope he fights for his place when its time for him to step down and be replaced, but that time is not yet.

Totally agree, ive studied him for 45minutes every Home game, I sit right behind him and hes quite awful at times.

He makes great saves, but theres so much more about being a Keeper for a top 6 team.

Your wrong, he's a key part of a defense that has kept us in the hunt for Europe for years. He's not as bad as people make out at all.

I'm not wrong, i'm very much right. But you are entitled to your opinion mate! at times he's kept us in matches but those times are few and far between, he isn't commanding him on one on one situations.. he isn't very good. On crosses he isn't the best, his positional awareness is quite poor for a keeper of his age, the only thing he has going for him are quick reaction saves.

I think Howard has been much better for us than some people on here are suggesting

Not the best ever, but he's entered some great performances in his time

That being said, if Robles is getting it done in training, he should get a chance

I couldn't disagree more. Like the goat I've sat behind him for years and he's awful. I'll be delighted to see him out the side. This kid won't even have to be that great to get him out if he gets a fair crack of the whip.

I dont dislike Howard, hes "decent", not even close to tosh, but we could do better IMO.

I guess sitting behind Southall and Martyn ruined me, those 2 were utterly superb.

I am greatly joyed by this signing. As I've stated Howard has good reactions but his positioning is awful and leads to the need to do saves in the first place. He doesn't command his box and his distribution is all over the place either going straight to the opponent or over the side lines. All heil Joel.

Go and find a single post from me demanding loyalty from anyone. I dislike him cos he's crap no more, no less. As a person I've got loads of time for him. Always talks us up. Always acts properly. Never rocks the boat and looks like a nice fella.
