He's one of the very few who can't be blamed for how horrific we've been, but I still think we need a new first choice keeper.

Truly baffling how wrong he got the first and third goals tonight.

I think serious medical research needs to be done into Davekitis. Clearly many people suffer with it and the subsequent compulsion to be immovable contrarians.

Really? Show me the specifics or pipe down. The only list I've seen of goalkeeping errors this season is this one, which actually shows Everton goalkeepers not making any errors leading to goals this season.

Not the point, though. If you look back at this thread and the Howard thread, you'll see that I've consistently been saying that goalkeeping isn't the problem, whether it's been Howard or Robles starting. I'm just finding it funny that the exact people who were slamming Howard all season are now defending Robles for doing the exact same things. It's almost as if they had some personal ax to grind with Howard instead of caring about the performance on the pitch.

Robles is not perfect mate, not by a long shot but when he started, he rarely made mistakes - obviously this has changed.

Neither keeper is the answer and we definitely need a new one but for that article to say one mistake between the two is utterly wrong.

He obviously was. He was statistically in the worst 5 keepers in Europe, most errors from crosses, most errors leading to goals, etc. And the team was nowhere near as given up as they are now, Use the search function you bigoted toad

You use it. I'm not the one making wild unsubstantiated claims.

It's true, the team was nowhere near as given up with Howard in goal as they are now. That's why we were winning more. No matter how flashy Robles has looked since he took over, it hasn't made us any better.
