And they picked them up again against Bournemouth? What about last season when Robles looked so good with Howard out but we still got only six points in six matches?
It's puzzling. I genuinely think that Robles isn't worse than Howard, but I can't figure out why we do so poorly with him in goal. It's not even as if he's conceding more goals than Howard, even after the last few disasters. Maybe he's just been unlucky with his timing, but we're looking at more than twenty matches over the last two seasons and it's weird the way that Bournemouth match just sticks out like a sore thumb, both in terms of the actual result and in terms of how we played. Is his distribution doing something strange to the way we attack or something?
